ABOUT US
Avo Care is a domiciliary care agency putting patient care first.
OUR AGENCY
Avo Care is a domiciliary care agency putting patient care first. We are not a business dabbling in healthcare, we are healthcare professionals utilising our experience to offer home care so your loved ones can remain in the home they love and continue living life on their own terms.

At Avo Care, we're proud to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), ensuring that we meet their rigorous standards for providing top-quality care. This registration demonstrates our commitment to delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care to our clients. Working with regulatory bodies like the CQC helps us continuously improve our services and maintain the highest standards of care delivery.
Additionally, we're delighted to be partnering with Essex County Council, Dorset Council, and Hampshire County Council, which further underscores our dedication to excellence and our ability to meet the needs of our clients. You can trust that when you choose Avo Care, you're choosing a reliable and reputable provider that prioritises your well-being above all else.

CQC registered
At Avo Care, rest assured, we're fully registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for our exceptional home care services, which means we'll provide excellent care with the highest standards of quality and safety.
OUR TEAM
At Avo Care, we approach your family's care with the same level of dedication and care as we would for our own loved ones.
Ensuring the quality of your carer is paramount to us. We go beyond standard procedures, conducting official checks, face-to-face assessments, and asking ourselves a simple yet crucial question: 'Would I trust this person to care for my mum?' With Avo Care, you can rest assured that your carer is perfectly suited for the role.

All Avo Care approved carers:
Provide 2+ verifiable references
Possess a minimum of 6 months' experience
Hold a clean enhanced DBS

We equip all our carers with comprehensive, industry-leading training. Modules cover essential topics such as moving and handling, medication management, and dementia care. Plus, we only recruit carers who naturally embody kindness and compassion.

You'll only receive care from a carer who possesses the necessary skills to support you. Our matching process not only considers personality but also prioritizes your specific needs for overall well-being.

In addition to our initial four-day training and assessment programme, every Avo Care carer undergoes regular refresher training to ensure their knowledge and skills remain up to date.

We ensure our carers excel through:
Expert training: Our mandatory induction course ensures that our carers provide the highest quality of care.
Thorough assessment: Our rigorous assessment programme covers various essential areas, including manual handling, first aid, condition-led care, medication management, equality & diversity, personal care, and safeguarding.
Career investment: We invest in our carers' futures, encouraging them to enhance their skills and knowledge in areas of interest to them.
